You Don't Have to Carry This Alone
Your story is more than what hurt you. We provide trauma, grief, and burnout counseling for adults and organizations—virtually in NC, SC, and OR, and face‑to‑face in Jacksonville, NC.
If you’re the one everyone leans on, it can feel impossible to admit you’re not okay.
Maybe you’re grieving a loss, still carrying old trauma, or so burned out that even small tasks feel heavy. At L. Bryant Counseling & Consulting, we center Black women and other hurting hearts who are used to pushing through, and we give you a place to lay it down and let someone care for you too.
"Why Clients Choose L. Bryant Counseling"
Because therapy isn't one-size-fits-all — and neither are we.
🎯 Our team brings three distinct perspectives to the table. Whatever you're working through, you'll find the right fit among us.
🌍 You're a Person, Not a Diagnosis
We don't rush, we don't check boxes, and we don't treat you like a symptom list. Every session is about you — your story, your goals, and where you want to go.
📍 Therapy That Fits Your Life
Virtual sessions across NC, SC, and Oregon, or in-person at our Jacksonville office. Evening and weekend appointments available.
Our Team
"Real therapists. Real understanding. Our team specializes in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care for adults navigating grief, burnout, and life's toughest transitions."
"I'm a trauma-informed therapist who believes healing isn't about starting over — it's about reclaiming what was never broken. I work with adults and organizations navigating grief, trauma, and burnout. As the creator of the 'Still With Me' grief journal, I bring both clinical expertise and lived understanding to every session. My practice is built on culturally responsive care, with a special focus on Black women and those healing from loss."
I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, depression, and major life transitions. My background in ABA therapy informs my compassionate, evidence-based approach. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are and heal at your own pace.
I support adults and families recovering from trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, and life's hardest moments. With experience working alongside domestic violence survivors, children, and diverse communities, I bring warmth, cultural humility, and real understanding to every session.
